I am Devina from Kenya. I am the founder of AIFEi (All Inclusive For The Environment initiative) which champions for inclusivity of people especially those with special needs i.e people living with disabilities and disorders to be included in Environmental conservation. I also champion for SDGs and am an animal lover and advocate for animal welfare.

I am Harrison Ashangwa from Cameroon, an Environmental Engineer with an MSc in Environmental Engineering. I am also an environmental advocate with over 4 years experience in Environmental Advocacy spanning several organisations and community initiatives. I strongly believe that young people have a significant role to play in championing the environmental movement towards a sustainable and equitable planet and it's my greatest desire to see more synergy and collaboration amongst young people regardless of where we are.

I am Ishita Yadav an environmental activist and youth advocate from Bangalore, India. After first hand witnessing resources shrinking, and people are struggling for survival in my country I was inspired to call for action on climate change. Additionally I am the founder of the" TooFast" movement raising awareness and mitigating the detrimental effects of Fast Fashion.

Concerned about environmental and climate challenges, I recently interned at the UN Environment Program. This experience was a real eye-opener and I decided to get more involved in the protection of nature! I mainly work on ocean-related issues, including marine pollution and the nexus ocean-climate.

I’m Carla from Bolivia. I’ve been working at Bolivian Platform for Action Against Climate Change with local projects and initiatives involving young people in climate action, which is our generation’s biggest challenge. The governments, civil society, private sector; all of us are a part of the climate change problem and the solution also. We’re playing an important role more than ever and connecting our actions and making incidence in environmental public policies can make a real difference.

I started activism in 2012, with a Bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Khartoum, Sudan followed by a masters in renewable energy from the same University. I am the General coordinator for Youth and Environment - Sudan (YES) platform to give all environment working youth the networking they need. Also, I am the Chair of Sudan Youth Organization on Climate Change (SYOCC) which is a youth-led organization. I am also a junior negotiator with in the UNFCCC focusing on the policies of countries regarding climate change and renewable energies. I wrote several policy papers in climate change, renewable energy, gender and youth empowerment. I am part of many youth and climate action bodies.

I've been involved on some local initiatives related to sustainable development and I believe that diversity is the greatest wealth and weapon we have to fight all those crisis. Climate Action Buddies is a great opportunity to raise against the climate crises but also against all the inequalities in order to have a better and a more sustainable world.

My professional and volunteer engagements in the past couple of years have mainly been in advocacy and activism in various approaches. I have worked with grassroots organizations in policy advocacy and implementation, while activism at national and international arenas. I am strong believer of local and international corporation for a common objectives and beliefs. Kenya is my motherland.

I'm a Swedish national based in Bristol, UK, and I'm one of the co-founders of Extinction Rebellion. I trained in arts and crafts in my home country before moving to the UK and training in organic farming and gardening. Now I'm spending most of my time organising social movements.

I have been active for a couple of years in the sphere of environmental activism in order to not only amplify the voices of the countless suffering people as a result of climate change, especially in Africa, and speak for the voiceless species of flora and fauna, but also to connect with other like-minded people across the globe in saving the planet from anthropogenic destruction.
